COMPANY HISTORY
1969: Dick Ide founded Ide Pontiac Inc. in Fairport, New York.
1974: The Honda franchise was added.
1976: Construction was started on the current Honda facility in Penfield
1977: Sales of both Honda and Pontiac began in the current Honda building.
1987: The current Pontiac facility was constructed, and Pontiac sales were once again in a dedicated Pontiac building.
1983 - 2002: Mitch Ide owned and operated Ideal Chevy-Olds in Geneseo.
2007: Mitch Ide is once again at Dick Ide Pontiac-Honda, and with the help of his son, Rich Ide Jr., he is continuing the Ide tradition of car sales in Rochester.
